About Our Team

Bedford Area Ambulance Service (BAAS) was established in 1971 as a non-profit organization to provide emergency care to the residents and visitors of Bedford and surrounding areas. BAAS is licensed by the PA Department of Health as a Basic and Advanced Life Support Ambulance Service.

The organization's field staff is made up of paid and volunteer Emergency Medical Responders (EMRs), Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), Paramedics and Pre-Hospital Registered Nurses (PHRNs).
